Last week we closed on our Smoke Rise Home of 41 years. Our family grew up in that house and we loved it. Our three childrens height was scratched in pencil on the inside of our cupboard door on their birthdays. So selling was a bit emotional and everyone had ambivalent feelings. We chose Pat Soltys as our agent becausee we knew she had lived in the neighborhood, loved it like we did and had sold about a million homes in the area over the years. Glad we did because she was remarkabily sensitive to our sentiments. I think a person with good qualities brings those good qualities to work with them. Pat is a fine person and we found her to be available, helpful with the big and small issues, knowledgable, prompt, neither over or under promising, and connected with other pros who were helpful with the many issues that arise with selling older homes. Of course we are happy to recommend her. She did a great job and we made a new friend.

Her listings went under contract quickly. She has a team under her direction. She knows her business better than others. She does not work both sides of transaction. She is a calming influence during a high stress activity Pat was very honest in telling us what our house needed to sell. It was difficult to hear, but she delivered a difficult message firmly. By following her suggestions, a better result was achieved. I am confident Pat added real value to the process.

The recommended closing agent was subpar. For example, they charged me a fee to pay off my mortgage and they failed to provide the mortgage company with my new address. I did a remote closing -- There were some many changes I had to make two trips to have new versions of prior document notarized and they charged an extra $200 for this mess!

First impression was that she really cared about the people she represented. She helped us a lot even before we officially hired her. Incredible personal service, I can't imagine a better experience.
